Pokemon: Yellow Version Special Pikachu Edition game description
Pokemon Yellow Version Special Pikachu Edition is a late 1990s fantasy JRPG from the super popular Pokemon game series for the Gameboy Color.
Pokemon Yellow is the first game from the series. Your ultimate goal in the game is to become the best pokemon trainer, defeat eight gym leaders and catch all pokemon. Some of the pokemon you cannot actually catch in Yellow version, so you have to use the Game Boy link to trade pokemon with friends with Red and Blue version to complete your collection.
There are 151 pokemon of different types such as fire, water or grass. Each town has a gym where you can compete with other pokemon trainers. Each gym specializes in a different type of pokemon. After defeating a gym trainer, you gain a new ability and you are allowed to travel to new areas.
What makes Pokemon Yellow Version Special Pikachu Edition different?
Pokemon Yellow is different from Red and Blue games in that it is based on the Pokemon anime series. The protagonist looks like Ash and you start the game with Pikachu. Graphics of the game characters are based on designs from the series including the infamous Jesse, James and Meowth.
