Super Mario Kart Gameplay
The game is playable in singleplayer as well as in two-player split-screen multiplayer. You can choose from six different Super Mario characters, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, Bowser and Donkey Kong Jr., all of which compete in the Super Mario Kart championship. The championship has four races, Mushroom Cup, Flower Cup, Star Cup and Special Cup. Each of them are raced on a different set of tracks in different locations. Since every contestant wants to win at all costs, be prepared to collect coins to boost your speed or throw turtle shells and bananas to slow your rivals down.
The two-player split-screen battle mode is quite simple. The first player to pop three balloons wins.
