Now, after being kicked out of Mario’s castle, Wario is more deretmined than ever to get a castle of his own. What is more, it is going to be a lot bigger and swaggier than Mario’s. To achieve this, Wario is planning to rob the robbers – the pirates of Kitchen Island. A rumor has it that they have hoarded big riches, among which they have the priceless Golden Statue of Princess Toadstool.
What is Wario like to play?
Entertaining! Even when small, Wario is quite the brawler. He can break most bricks with a punch. Some enemies are so weak that he just pushes them aside. He can destroy enemies with his body slam attack. He can pick his enemies up and use them as a thrown weapon. If that was not enough, there are three different power ups Wario can find. The Bull Hat lets him plough through bricks in a single hit, ram his horns into the ceiling to hold onto it, and butt stomp to stun all enemies on the screen. The Jet Hat allows him to fly horizontally for a bit, and increases his jump height and speed. Finally, the Dragon Hat allows him to breathe a long stream of fire for a short period of time.
